Aston Martin Lagonda Rapide Introduction
The Aston Martin Lagonda Rapide was in production from the year 1961 to 1964. It was a 4 door GT car. In the 1953, David Brown purchased a Lagonda marque and according to the technical specifications of aston martin DV4 he was trying to repair his purchased car.
The Rapide used a 4.0 L straight-6 locomotive which was afterwards used in the Aston Martin DB5. Addiotional new features are a de Dion tube back brake which would get its style into the Aston Martin DBS.
The automobile was built to say just and expensive at £4,950. However, 55 vehicles were produced, of which 48 are known nowadays.
