Aston Martin DB6 Introduction

The Aston Martin DB6 was a sports car and produced by the manufacturer Aston Martin since 1965 to 1970. Aerodynamics and specifications of DB6 had bettered over its predecessor, the DB5.

Although these two cars had same look and feel but they were very different and DB6s are less desirable than the DB5 on the collector market.

One of the major change between DB5 and DB6 was the desertion of the superleggera construction technique for the more popular body-on-fame. Triple SU carbs generates 282 hp (210 kW). A Mark II auto shares many parts with the new DBS.

Aston Martin DB6 Vantage

As like previous DB6 models, a DB6 Vantage with high-power was built. It was provided with three Weber carburetors.

Aston Martin DB6 Volante

The convertible DB6 Volante was shown with an excessively deferential manner at the 1966 London Motor Show. Only 140 models were built including 29 high-output Vantage Volante versions.
